Course Syllabus |
The Emergency First Aid at Work training syllabus covers:
- Role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing the situation and acting safely, effectively and
promptly in an emergency
Administer first aid to a casualty who is/requires -
- Unconscious casualty
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Choking
- Wounded and bleeding
- Suffering from shock
- Discussion of specific work related injuries

Assessment and
Qualifications |
Learners will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of
the course.

Other Relevant
Information |
Learners must be physically able to carry out procedures required
to meet awarding bodies (FAIB, SQA, or ITC) assessment
criteria.
Full learner participation is encouraged. We host
courses in Glasgow, across Scotland & venues across the
UK.
