Why is it important to have an AED?
In the UK approximately 30,000 people sustain
cardiac arrest outside hospital each year*.
For every minute that passes someone's chances of surviving a
cardiac arrest decreases. If defibrillation is delivered promptly,
survival rates can be as high as 75%*.
Time is crucial!
By investing in an AED you are giving casualties the best chance
of survival. AED units are recommended where there are large
numbers of staff or clients on-site. Stewart First Aid Training
sells a range of defibrillators including the Cardiac Science
Powerheart AED G3 Plus. We also provide training in how to use AEDs
so that your staff feel confident in dealing with emergencies
should they arise.
