Stewart First Aid Training Accreditation
Stewart First Aid Training (SFAT) was HSE approved in 1991 and
the accreditation of our services post HSE withdrawl in October
2013 is seen as essential in demonstrating to Employers the
commitment we have to ensuring that they have the very best
standard of workplace first aid training.
Stewart First Aid Training is ISO9001:2008 accredited and is one
of the only workplace first aid training providers that can
demonstrate accreditation from the 4 main bodies overseeing first
aid:
FAIB
The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) guarantees to approve and
monitor registered first aid training companies against the HSEs
training framework for first aid training provision in Scotland,
England and Wales, in the same way that the HSE have done since the
early 80s. In essence they will take over from where the HSE have
left off. FAIB will carry out due diligence monitoring visits and
closely monitor feedback about workplace first aid training

Stewart First Aid Training work under the auspices of FAIB for
our HSE framework courses including:
- First Aid at Work
- First Aid at Work Requalification
- Emergency First Aid at work
FAIB also approve Stewart First Aid Training to deliver
Paediatric first aid credentials (one and two day programmes)
OFQUAL Approved Courses
Stewart First Aid Training offer OFQUAL regulated credentials in
England and Wales through Awarding Organisation ITC.
These are composed of:
- Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)
- Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF)

HSENI Accreditation
Until such point that the HSE withdraw from the approvals
process, SFAT will continue to be monitored and approved by HSE NI
for our training services delivered in Northern Ireland. Approved
courses include:

- HSE NI Approved First Aid at Work Requalification
- HSE NI Approved Emergency First Aid at Work
